Future Force Magazine

The CF magazine Future Force was started in the Spring of 1997. The creation of the magazine was made possible by the Cyber Campus Project, a computer training course run by the Cystic Fibrosis Association.

The Cyber Campus Project gives participants with Cystic Fibrosis the chance to learn Basic Computer Application and Internet skills.

The magazine was founded by six students who completed this course and wanted to develop their skills further. Financing the magazine was made possible by sponsorship and donations from companies and from individual association members.

It was set up as a way of providing information and entertainment to people with CF, and over the years it has become a very useful and valuable resource to the Irish Cystic Fibrosis population.

In the magazine we cover Medical Issues such as Transplant recipients telling their story, advice on CF from valued experts, as well as Social Issues, such as fundraising, conferences and advice on Benefits, Entitlements and Insurance etc.

The magazine is now into it's eighth year and continues to flourish thanks to the dedicated team behind it.
