All information that we hold concerning you as an individual will be held and processed by CFI strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protections Acts 1988 and 2003. Such Data will be used by the Organisation to administer our relationship with you as a valued customer or member and to provide you with information about the CFI activities, events and news.
The CFI collects details provided by you for the purpose of making donations, subscribing to our newsletter, sponsoring someone taking part in an event, becoming a registered member, purchasing goods or making a direct debit. All relevant information will be stored on a computerised database system which can only be administered by CFI allocated staff. Use of Information:
CFI will use your collected information to contact you regarding relevant information and news updates regarding the association and its activities. We will contact you by the information you provided upon signing up to CFI.
We will not, without your consent, supply your name and addresses to any third party except where (1) such transfer is a necessary part of the activities that we undertake, or (2) we are required to do so by operation of law. Transfers to 3rd parties will only be undertaken for the purposes of membership mail-outs and will be done in a strict and controlled manner.
When you are on the website and are asked for personal information, you are sharing that information with CFI alone, unless stated otherwise. For online donations or purchases made in the online shop information is stored for the purpose of issuing a receipt. Additional information will only be sent if requested when filling out the online payment form. When signing up to the CFI forum all registrants must agree and consent to certain terms and conditions.
Sensitive Credit Card Information:
All credit card transactions that take place on our online shop are done on our behalf by secure server software called Realex. The software protects credit card information and prevents anyone obtaining access to your credit information when you are processing your transaction.

As an individual, you have a right under the Data Protection Acts to obtain information from us, including a description of the data that we hold relating to you, and to have any inaccurate information rectified.
