Second Chance Ball [ 30-10-2008 ]
Support Organ Donor Awareness. The 'Second Chance Ball' will take place in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin on Saturday, November 22nd, 2008. This is a fund raising event to generate monies to promote an organ donation awareness campaign. The evening will kick off with a champagne/Guinness reception at 7.30pm, followed by dinner at 8.30pm and dancing to music from the 'Housem8s' until 2.00am. National Awareness Week 2007 [ 29-01-2007 ]
The Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (CFAI) has today (January 29th) appealed to the public to support flags days which will take place throughout the country during National Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Week (January 29th-February 4th) in a bid to raise funds to support over a thousand people in Ireland who are living with Cystic Fibrosis - Ireland’s most common life-threatening inherited disease. The 22 branches of the CFAI will be involved in selling pins and dolls, at a cost of €2 each, in towns and cities throughout the country. The funds raised will be used to support the CFAI’s extensive range of services providing advice, support and care services to patients and their families.
