CFAI to write to An Taoiseach on cutbacks in McCarthy Report
The CFAI is very concerned about proposed cutbacks in the McCarthy Report (An Bord Snip Nua). These include among other issues:
A proposed cut of €50 million in funding to voluntary disability organizations providing disability services
A proposed €60 million reduction to the funding of Special Needs Assistants
A proposed 5% reduction in the rate of Disability Allowance
