when i was in hospital last time there was a patient wit cf there who smoked. i said hello to him a few times and hes always very friendly. he looks healthy enough, good posture and always chattin to someone. i felt like i wanted to ask him why he was smokin but i didnt i just left it i supose its none of my business. would you say something(obviously not to the doc) or just forget about it?

I noticed a few pwcf smoked when I was in hosp, the chattier ones I asked about it, just because I'm nosey 8) There are also one or two ex smokers I've met as well. Personally, it's something I've never thought of trying but none of my family/friends smoke, plus I don't really see the point.

Am feeling very proud of myself because I havent smoked in the last 52 weeks, :D . Still affraid to say that I am to say I am a non smoker tho!

i know a bloke who had cf and smoked and he kept quite well (and had a deep sexy voice) and then he quit and got every infection going. :bom:
The one thing we all have in common is we are all unique ;)

You're so passsionate, and then you say that you were a smoker up until last year???
oohhhhh.... liam...I don't know what to say

each to their own. (doesnt count for you liam)

I used to smoke occasionally. Never cigarates though.
My reason was that when I did smoke, ironically it felt like a big weight was lifted off my chest.
An amazing feeling. I don't care what state of mind i was in the feeling was still there.
I don't anymore smoke anymore though.

I used to have the occasional cigarette while i was drinking, back in the day :P
there is no reality,only perception :)
