We are delighted to announce details for the Cystic Fibrosis International Walk 2019 and are urging people to dust off their walking shoes and register to take part for CF.
The 8 day trip taking place from September 20th to 27th will explore unique and beautiful Greece. The walk caters for various levels of fitness, so that each walker can take part at a pace they are comfortable with.
The Walk, which starts in Glyfada and finishes in Athens, will see participants walking an average of 10km each day and taking in sights such as the green hills of Sounio National Park, the islands of Aegina, Poros, and Hydra, the National Park of Mt. Parnitha, the Ancient Footpath Into Delphi, the Temple of Poseidon, and the UNESCO World Heritage site of the Acropolis.
The fundraising target for the Walk is €3,150 and this will cover all costs including flights, accommodations and meals.
The International Walk is a fantastic way to see the world while having fun, exercising your body and mind, making new friends and connections for life, and feeling good - all the while raising vital funds for people living with cystic fibrosis in Ireland.
There are limited places available so we urge you to book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!
