CF Ireland Regional Physiotherapy Workshops- 5th November 2013, Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Cork.
Cystic Fibrosis Ireland (CFI) is facilitating regional Physiotherapy Workshops around the country and the first one will be held on Tuesday 5th November in the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Cork @ 7.30pm.
We are delighted that Claire Hickey and Pat Shanahan from the adult and paediatric physiotherapy teams in Cork University Hospital (CUH) have agreed to facilitate the first of these free workshops which will take place on Tuesday 5th November at 7.30pm in the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, Cork.
Some topics that we hope to cover are:
• Importance of physio
• Different Techniques & Equipment
• Games for younger PWCF
• Encouragement of self-physio
• Importance of exercise
• Importance of exercise in bad health

Two CF Ireland staff members, Caroline Heffernan, PWCF & CF Patient Advocate, and Alica May, Services and Information Officer, will be available on the day from 1pm to chat about any issues you are concerned about and to answer any queries you may have about our grants and support services.
