15th Anniversary of One in 1000 / Vhi Women's Mini Marathon

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland are delighted to announce the 15th Anniversary of the One in 1,000 Campaign for the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon which takes place on Sunday, 31st May 2026. Complete the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon either walking or running in aid of Cystic Fibrosis Ireland by signing up to our One in 1,000 campaign here

Please Note: CFI has pre-paid spots just for you and your team, and they go fast! Places available for purchase on the VHI website are SOLD OUT, so register with US to get a place! This registration page is for participants who would like to purchase a secured pre-paid spot in the Vhi Women’s Mini Marathon and wish to support Cystic Fibrosis Ireland by joining our One in 1000 team and fundraising on behalf of CFI. Individual registration fee: €42

Once you’ve clicked ‘Submit’, your digital fundraising page on iDonate.ie will be automatically set up and you will receive an email with the page details – don’t forget to share it on your social channels and with your friends and family! We will then send you your race shirt with our new design, so you can complete the mini marathon in style!

The Vhi Women's Mini Marathon caters to all levels of fitness, so whether you're a carefree walker or a determined runner we would love to have you join the One in 1,000 Cystic Fibrosis Ireland Team for the 15th Anniversary in 2026!

Will you be One in 1,000 for CFI and take part in the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon 2026?

Funds raised from this campaign will:

  • Provide funding towards new Cystic Fibrosis units around the country, including dedicated in-patient, day care and out-patient facilities
  • Provide Exercise Grants, Fertility Grants & Transplant Grants to people living with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland
  • Fund advocacy to shape government policy and campaigning to improve lung transplantation rates in Ireland
  • Fund for medical and scientific research aimed at understanding, managing and treating Cystic Fibrosis
  • Help us to increase public awareness about Cystic Fibrosis
  • Help us to provide advice, information and advocacy services to people with CF and their families
