CF Ireland Webinar Series: Superbugs

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland in collaboration with Professor John Moore and Professor Cheri Millar are hosting a series of 4 webinars to answer questions in relation to Superbugs. Each webinar will be approximately 1 hour long with the opportunity to interact via online questions and polls.

This first webinar takes place on Tuesday 17th September at 7.30pm and will focus on all things Bacteria. Some of the questions asked by are community that will be answered are;

  • What is bacteria?
  • What are the difference types of bacteria?
  • Where is bacteria found?
  • How to treat colonisation of bacteria

The sessions will be moderated by Professor Moore, Professor Miller and CF Ireland staff. 

When joining the webinar, participants will be asked to provide access to their microphone and camera. However, there is an option to join the webinar without providing your own visual / audio, but still participating in the discussion through the chat box.

When you log in on a device without a microphone or camera, or if you block access on your device you will see this screen 


To keep audio and visual communications off, click the "x" in the top right hand corner and you will be brought to the webinar. However, please note if you choose not to set up your audio, you will not be able to communicate directly with the group. However, you will be able to ask questions and interact in the comment box, which is located on the bottom right hand side of the screen.   The webinar will commence at 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 17th.
