Workshop details

This workshop will be approximately 45 minutes long and will be hosted by Brendan Lonergan, artist and childcare worker, and Nicola Delaney Foxe, Strategic Communications Senior Coordinator CFI.

Brendan is the current Secretary of the CFI Board and regularly contributes to Spectrum and you can view his work on his Instagram profile.

The Workshop and 65 Roses Day

This workshop is part of the 65 Roses Day Campaign 2026 which this year focuses on growing up, growing old and living with CF.

We will be hosting a public exhibition during the week leading up to 65 Roses Day (10th April 2026) to share the dreams and aspirations of those impacted by CF who contribute. This workshop is to ensure the young person's voice in the campaign.

Through conversation with your child at the workshop, Brendan will form a picture of your child's aspirations and create a doodle of your child as a grown-up. This doodle is intended to be exhibited at the exhibition. However, names may be changed in order to do this if you prefer. You child will also be offered the opportunity to exhibit their doodle alongside the grown-up doodle, with your permission.

If you would like more information on this element of the workshop, please get in touch with ndelaneyfoxe@cfireland.ie or call 01 496 2433.
