CFI Support for People with CF from Ukraine Update 

CFI is playing our part to support people with CF from Ukraine who are suffering because of the on going cruel war in that region. 

Impact of CFI support so far:

1. CFI has donated €10,000 to the CF Ukraine Emergency Appeal Fund fund set up by Cystic Fibrosis Europe (of which we are board members). Other CF Associations across Europe are also contributing to this fund 

2. We and other associations have received a thank-you letter from the All Ukraine Association of care of patients with cystic fibrosis (see attached)

3. We are already assisting 2 people with CF who have recently sought refuge in Ireland 

4. We are also assisting (through CFE) the humanitarian work of other CF associations on the western border of Ukraine, including in Poland 

5. 1 in 10 euro raised during 65 Roses week will also be donated to the CFE Emergency Appeal Fund
