“To 70 year old me. Today, you have kids, a life, a legacy…
… you get to sit here at 70, something you once called a dream and be thankful for every researcher, every doctor, every nurse, every scientist, every fundraiser, every drug trial, every person who said “we can do better.”
With thanks to the very welcome Government support for provision of modulator therapies, many people with Cystic Fibrosis (pwCF) are living longer and healthier lives, planning for futures as older people.
Tto gain an insight into what this means for our members, CFI are inviting everyone to exerience Rewriting Tomorrow - a powerful exhibition featuring letters written by people with Cystic Fibrosis to their future selves. These letters reflect the hopes and dreams within this remarkable community and what is needed to realise their future dreams. The exhibition is beautifully balanced with drawings from children with CF, sharing what they hope to become when they grow up.
Originally launched as part of 65 Roses Day, CFI are delighted to share that the exhibtion waa accepted as part of Dublin City Council's 'A Thriving City For All' festival of inclusivity, providing a second chance to viw this wonderful exhibition.
