Wellbeing Supports

Maintaining positive Mental Health and wellbeing is vital to navigating the challenges that arise in our day to day lives. Our mental health affects how we think, feel and also how we act, impacting upon our coping mechanisms, relationships and decision-making abilities.  Mental health is vital through all the stages of our lives from early childhood through to adulthood.

CFI offer financial support for those wishing to avail of counselling services.  These services may be a local provider that you have identified or alternatively we can help source an appropriate counsellor.

Whether it is individual support or family support we are happy to speak with you to understand and support your needs. This service extends to play and art therapy for the younger child as well as supporting siblings who may not have CF themselves but may benefit from engaging with a professional.

Please reach out to a member of the team (link to advocacy document) or contact us at memberservices@cfireland.ie .  Our services desk is open daily from 9am-5pm and a member of the team will be happy to support you in any way they can.

Additional support may also be available to you through our signposted services programme (link to information below)
