65 Roses Day Goes Virtual

Cystic Fibrosis Ireland has taken the decision to move their 65 Roses Day campaign online and are asking the public to support them by donating online at 65rosesday.ie

Speaking on the announcement today, Philip Watt, CEO said;
“To ensure we do everything we can to protect the health and wellbeing of people with cystic fibrosis, their families, volunteers and supporters we are cancelling all 65 Roses Day public collections that were scheduled to take place on Friday April 10th, but instead are asking the public to support the campaign online by donating at 65rosesday.ie”.

 “We will continue to focus on providing people with cystic fibrosis and their families with the information, advice and support they need at this time”
Philip Watt concluded.

65 Roses Day supported by Dunnes Stores is Cystic Fibrosis Ireland’s biggest fundraiser, taking place each year in April. Funds go towards supporting people with cystic fibrosis and providing them with a better quality of life through funding of grants for exercise, transplant support, fertility treatment and counselling; support for research and advocacy work to help improve CF services in Ireland and direct funding of CF units and CF specialist staff in hospitals across Ireland.
