At the moment, we are dealing with a lot of queries in relation to testing for COVID-19.
As per the HSE advice, if you are displaying symptoms and require testing, you should contact your GP and your CF Centre. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
Contact details for the CF centres can be found here
For further information on testing, you can contact HSE Live on 1850 24 1850. Please note you cannot be referred for testing through HSE Live Support.
At weekends or GP out of hours, you can contact your local out-of-hours medical care provider for advice. You should not present at the out-of-hours clinics if you are displaying symptoms, please phone for advice.
Please note that the current wait time for testing is 4/5 days. Increased testing capacity is expected this week and the wait time may further reduce.
In relation to clinic appointments, many hospitals have suspended non-essential outpatient appointments or have moved to a phone / online appointment set up. If you have an upcoming appointment we recommend phoning your CF Centre in advance to ensure your appointment is going ahead and get advice from the CF team in relation to attending.
The CFI office remains operational so if you have any queries or require support please do not hesitate to contact the CFI Staff Team on 01 496 2433 / email info@cfireland.ie
In the meantime, continue to take care and keep safe.
