Covid-19 Restrictions now at Level 3 for all counties
Cystic Fibrosis Ireland continues to be here to support our members and their families. We know that this continues to be an anxious time, but rest assured we remain here to help.
If you have any enquiries, or even if you just want to catch up with recent developments or to talk through an issue, or if you need other supports, we will do our best to help.
CFI Office
In line with government guidance and good practice, staff in CFI will once again be working remotely from Monday, October 12th. The only difference this makes to our services is that our actual offices in Dublin and Limerick will be closed to visitors and meetings. If you want to contact us, you can phone the main office as normal number during work hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (closed for lunch 1-2pm).
Covid-19 Restrications now at Level 3 for all counties
Cystic Fibrosis Ireland encourages our members and families to continue to exercise personal judgement, as everyone’s circumstances are different, taking into account the current advice that is available and which is summarised in the below graphic.
Many of our members with CF have returned to school and college or employment. Others remain cocooning at home. We hope to publish some joint research on your experience in coping with Covid-19 in the near future.
The current Government advice as of 7 October 2020 is as follows, including information aimed at those who are medically vulnerable.
Information from the source linked above and outlined below, accessed October 7th 2020.
The priority is to keep schools and early learning and childcare services open and minimise disruption in the work force. This means that a number of services will be moved online and some businesses will be closed (for example: museums and other indoor cultural venues). In order to keep people safe, you will be asked to reduce the number of people you meet to a minimum and stay in your own county.
