Facemasks availability on the Long Term Illness Scheme: Clarification of Information from CFI 

On the 18th of May CFI published a short information item on the availability of facemasks on the Long Term Illness (LTI) Scheme which we now wish to retract and clarify.

Whilst facemasks have been on the LTI Core List for Cystic Fibrosis for a considerable period of time, the HSE has kindly informed CFI that there has been no change in policy in supplying masks in response to COVID-19. CFI is happy to make this clarification.

We hope to have further information soon in respect of HSE policy on this issue. 

We would be grateful if our members do not seek facemasks under the LTI scheme in this context
