The Parent Connect Team

The Parent Connect Team is a voluntary group made up of parents who have young children with CF.  Supported by CFI, they are on hand to listen, support and offer resources, which you might find helpful. If you would like to be connected with another parent please reach our through email with your name and contact number and we will in touch parentconnect@cfireland.ie

New Born Care Pack and Information Sheet

Put together by the Parent Connect team, our information leaflet and newborn care pack is available for new parents whose child has been recently diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. The information leaflet has been carefully written in addition to a Q&A sheet that you may find helpful, particularly in the early days. We work closely with the Hospital Paediatric teams who hold the care packs for distribution.  If you are yet to receive yours, please do let us know and we will organise for one for you. memberservices@cfireland.ie

Online Parent Support Group

When the time is right for you, there is also an online Parent Support Group which meets monhtly for you to join. These groups take place on the first Wednesday of each month and are an opportunity for you to connect with other, ask questions and learn in a safe space. If you would like to join, you can sign up here.

CF Advocate Service 

The CF Advocates are people with Cystic Fibrosis and part of the CFI team. They support families in whatever way they can - whether you need advice on your rights and entitlements, are looking for practical information about living with CF, or just need a chat, they are there to help. You'll find an info sheet to download at the bottom of this page.
