Starting A Family NEW

Starting a family can present unique challenges. CF can affect fertility, particularly in men, and means that women with CF may need to consider their timing or approach to conception.

There are different supports available to help people with Ccystic Fibrosis (CF) on their journey to parenthood. The HSE Fertility Treatment Scheme is the first option to explore, offering access to treatment for those who are eligible. For people who do not qualify, the CFI Fertility Grant can provide financial support, including for fertility treatments and surrogacy, recognising that there are different paths to starting a family.
