Wellbeing Supports

Looking after your mental health and wellbeing is very important in managing the everyday challenges of life. Good mental health affects how we think, feel, and act — it helps us cope with stress, build strong relationships, and make good decisions. It matters at every age, from childhood through to adulthood.

CFI offers financial help for anyone who would like to access counselling. You can choose your own local counsellor, or we can help you find one that suits your needs.

We provide support for both individuals and families. This includes play and art therapy for younger children, as well as support for brothers and sisters who don’t have CF but may still benefit from talking to a professional.

If you’d like to learn more or talk to someone about your options, please contact a member of our team at memberservices@cfireland.ie. Our service desk is open Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, and we’ll do our best to help.

You may also be able to access other help through our signposted services programme (see the link below for more information).
